Independence Day is fast approaching, so let's prepare with a refreshingly fun summer craft!
What you'll need:
Red, white, blue, and tan or brown construction paper
Scissors
Glue
Pen and markers
Directions:
1. Trace out the shape you want your ice cream scoops to have. Cut out the shape because we'll trace around it for our three scoops.
2. Trace around that first ice cream scoop on your red, white, and blue paper, then cut them out.
3. Now, it's time to draw your cone shape. Make sure it's big enough for your ice cream scoop!
4. Lay out all of your pieces and decorate them however you like. We chose to draw different smiley faces on our ice cream and draw the waffle cone stripes for our cone.
5. Stack them in the order you like, and then glue them together.
6. Add any finishing decorations and a patriotic message; you're all set. Enjoy!
